Armenian Arthur Abraham was the victim of dumb yankee tomfoolery last week when his Championship Belt was stolen from his vehicle as he searched for a baggage cart at the airport.
Now it appears the shenanigans have claimed an American victim.
Monte Barrett, coming off of a thrilling first round knockout was the latest victim when his Blackberry device was stolen from his automobile as he fled from rabid Tye Fields fans at Las Vegas' McCarron Airport.
Monte was initally distraught at the loss, however good news came when two hours later Las Vegas Police contacted Barrett telling him they had recovered the device after stopping a car for driving without a license plate.
Barrett held the device proudly and took a moment to show me some of the personal treasures that it contained.
"Look here, this is a picture of my daughter, the love of my life... and this is my fight plan my trainer and I worked on before our fight with Fields.... If this had fallen into the wrond hands before the fight who knows what i would have been able to do."
I took the Blackberry from Barrett and viewed the fight plan.
"Round 1: Back up for about 30-45 seconds letting the dumb **** throw a couple lazy shots, around the 1 minute mark wait for him to throw a left hand and then load up a big amateurish overhand right counter shot and knock the big ****** muther ****er out."
