There are much worse words to describe it than "strange". This makes Aussies look like straight up suckers who would pay money to see two derelicts fight for a slice of government cheese. Come to think of it, I'd respect the guy more who paid 50 bones to see that,rather than watch Mundine-Green II.

How the hell is he getting paid more than cal was?

He has a deal with MainEvent PPV here in Australia...he has being getting paid millions because of it for sometime now...he's not very well liked by a lot here in Australia (yes yanks its an understatement...I know I know!!) and people who hate him pay the $49.95 to see him hopefully get his head knocked off!!!...because Danny Green is the all round nice guy Aussie he was the prime candidate to ko Mundine with his power but it just didint happen in the first fight...rumor has it he struggled making weight...he did look a bit gaunt to me but hey who knows.
I had $100 on Mundine and wasint dissapointed.

The sport is pretty much dead in this country. This guy has killed it. I'm not even a hater, I bought his fights and supported him against Echols and Mikkel and even Soliman II, but this is pathetic. They say demand has grown...who the **** from? The fact the people in Australia want to see a rematch of this disgustingly one-sided fight proves the sport is dieing.

***Awaits Ultimate coming in to scream at me that Mundine is going to fight Sugar Ray Robinson the weekend after he fights Green, followed by Winky and Pavlik the day after.

Its getting a bit silly now...theres no way they will get the PPV numbers they got from the first fight...they will probably lose out considering the amount they are paying Green! Ive boought so many of his fights...Hamden,Echols,Green,Soliman,Kessler,Siaca ect ect and until he steps up to someone at least like Miranda or Abraham or Sturm im not paying ****!!!!!!!!!
As for boxing dieing in OZ I dont think so...I just dont think people have grown tired of the thought of Mundine suffering a "brutal" KO...not a gold watch KO like the Ottke one.

But yes you're right...no more Thai cab drivers for Taylor...he should hang em up...Willie Kickett is gonna be great though...even though he got that bogus descision against stclair the other night...that was a joke...but he is the goods as Gary StClair is a tough fight for your twelth fight or whatever it was for Kickett...he's only a baby in the game!

Yeah I just think they need to have less cards on Friday Night Fights on fox but better fights. It's no good having a card every few weeks if they are all just terrible. I would much rather have a select number of cards with higher quality fights on them. I think more people would watch if they focused on the quality over the quantity.
