Mario Santiago feels robbed by the judges in Las Vegas. Last Saturday, he fought to a draw with WBO featherweight champion Steven Luevano on the pay-per-view undercard to Manny Pacquiao-David Diaz at the Mandalay Bay. The fight saw plenty of close action for the entire twelve-rounds, including a second-round that saw both fighters score knockdowns. [details]

I read about this on a local paper. pretty disappointing. I hope he sticks around and tries again -
Santiago did his thing the fight was really good alot of action.. both of them couldve been knock out at anytime hopefully they do it again .. It would be a good second fight if it happen..Comment

It wasn't a robbery, it was just a close fight. I'm dont think the overall decision was a bad one, although I had it 115-113 I could see it being a draw.
However the judge that had it 117-112 should be investigated.Comment

the 117-111 was a disgrace to boxing. judge should be put on probation or something. but the fight was either a draw or a 1 point win for either fighter. rematch should happen.Comment

Yeah I was baffled by the judges card that read 117-112. Well for those who payed the $50 bucks for the fight definitely got their drama Saturday with all the crazy **** that went on.Comment

oye Santiago papi! dont cry! see, this is why i am ashamed of being puerto rican, we cant accept a defeat or even worse a draw!... its true, its true... why did people forget that the mexican bad ass Luevano had trouble making the weight? he had to lose half a pound before the fight, that affected him greatly, i'd like to see a rematch at 130 papa, luevano would smoke santiago from my "country" of puelto lico.Comment
