I actually think he can if he carries up enough power to get Hatton's respect but if he doesn't, then Hatton will just out muscle him. I definitely don't see him stopping Hatton, but just dishing out a good beating. It will be a great fight no matter what.

      It's improbable but not impossible.

If Pacquiao can carry his speed and power up with him another 5 pounds, it's possible because Hatton has lost a step or two.

David Diaz was a handpicked opponent for Pacquiao.....He had a title but is most probably the worst fighter in the top 10 lightweights. God, i had a shot Morales beating him.

Diaz did not have the speed accross the ground to get near Pacquiao. Hatton does.

Hatton will hurt Pacquiao when they fight.

I think Pac has the speed to frustrate Hatton and Ricky was rocked several times by an inactive lightweight in Lazcano,so I would give a slight edge to Manny for an upset.

Can he "Mayweather" Hatton? No. Not in the sense that he could brawl Ricky toe-to-toe, counter him effectively all night and **** him on live television.

Could he do something different but with the same result? Absolutely. Floyd ruined Ricky. He looked like **** against Lazcano (Lazcano had him stumbling around like a drunk, which, ironically, Hatton is.) and he's ripe to be taken down in my opinion.

Manny could easily make it competitive against Hatton, and probably stop him on cuts or something. Ricky is done, the next guy who fights him with a pulse will likely end his career.

No - I don't see a Mayweather style fight at all. For a start Pacman has a way more exciting and aggressive style. I would love to see this fight, someone would go down!

I'm sorry but you're living in a fantasy world. Ricky is ruined. Period. The next fighter he gets in the ring with who poses any kind of threat at all will likely beat him badly.

I can't see Manny knocking Hatton out. Ricky can still take good shots to the face and we have no idea how Manny will perform at Light Welterweight.

I can see Manny winning on points.
