By Cliff Rold - June has always been a premiere month for Boxing. Lots of cards. Lots of action. In the old days, it had a lot to do with scheduling major stadium shows around the Major League Baseball schedule and getting to the people before the full swing of vacation season. Conversely, July was a drop point, a nod to the All-Star Game, Fourth of July, and road trips to the beach. The schedule isn’t quite as tried to the calendar as it used to be, but some things remain.
