Ive noticed that there's alot of hate tossed PBF's way. Everybody is saying that he is a sucky fighter and that he doesnt belong in the top 50 p4p list. Like Roy Jones said yall must have forgot lol...the only thing that everybody is holding on to is that Floyd illegibly ducked Margarito. People tend to forget that Floyd won 6 World Championships in 6 different weight classes...yet people tend to say he hasnt fought anybody or he runs..yet I look at a Pernell Whitaker video and pretty much see the same thing yet he wasnt seen as a runner. Its funny cause if you look on here and other forums everybody was like yea Ricky Hatton is gon whoop floyd...then Floyd KO's him and all those posts turn into well Floyd was suppose to win and he was the natural welterweight and all this bs...Floyd is gonna be old and dry if he fights everybody that we want him to fight lol. He whoops somebody yall throw another contender at him...the world will never give floyd his until he loses which I dont see anytime soon. Idk im not really on his nuts but I know boxing and I just think Floyd deserves his props

The reason people started the entire ducking thing........was because Floyd bought out his contract with Arum, and turned down what would have been the biggest payday of his career so far at that point, to fight Margarito.
Soon after we found out he was opting to fight De La Hoya.
Ok so that made sense right. But there's really no reason to claim people were wrong in questioning why he did in fact behave that way in regards to fighting Margarito. And nobody at the time claimed:
"He's seeking a bigger payday" because the payday offered by Arum once again would have been the largest of his career up until that point.
Also who is calling him a "Sucky" (Cute choice of word) fighter? If someone honestly doesn't think he's one of the top 50 greatest fighters of all time..........they're ******. You know why? Because that would mean they're talking out of their ass and they haven't watched him fight......or followed his career. It's impossible to name 50 greater fighters.
People criticize him for being an *******, man.

I think he's one of the top 20 greatest ever.
I don't think he's a top ten fighter however. If he did in fact come out of retirement and beat a couple of suspects, then yes.

Floyd is definately an ATG. Anybody that argues otherwise is simpl allowing their hate to blind them. Where he fits in in the ATG list is difficult. I would say probably top 30. He just doesn't have the resume to be any higher IMO. Talent wise, I have him right up there with the best there ever was.Comment

I hate Floyd because he's a ****y *******, but I respect his skills in the ring. I still hope he fights the Cotto/Margarito winner and as much as I'd like to see Floyd get KTFO, I think he will win a cautious decision over either fighter.Comment

Co-sign. I don't know why PBF ****riders don't understand this. If he really is retired, people shouldn't worry about him anymore anyway. But plain and simple, if he beats the Cotto-Marg winner, the hate stops and becomes completely inexcusable, PBF is the man and nobody can say jack **** about it. But as long as that don't happen, his stans are gonna have to keep hearin it.Comment
