Why are people getting so worked up over the obviously staged confrontation between Wlad and Haye?

Their teams had already been in discussions prior to their little altercation. Clearly just a way to build the first exciting heavyweight title fight since Vitali vs Lennox. Haye is marketable, Wlad's people know that. He's no Ibragimov. Haye wants the top guy. So its in both guys interests to build the fight hence the "confrontation".

I guess their plan is working as people are buying into it so heavily.
