Last night, Soto was disqualified for hitting his opponent while he was down. Do you guys remember when Pacman also hit JM Marquez while he was down in the first round in their first fight? Why didn't Cortez DQ him? I really hope that Cortez no longer referees a fight (especially if a Mexican fighter is involved).

The reason may be that Lorenzo acted as if he couldn't continue fighting because of the blow, he milked it all the way to a DQ victory.Comment

exactly what i said in my post in a different thread, pacquiao should of been disqualified, he also didnt know it was illegal to hit while his opponent was down... Cortez is an idiot, he should of atleast deducted him a point and marquez would of still schooled him and got the deserved decision!Comment

Do you feel that Lorenzo should of gotten the victory? Why didn't Cortez DQ Pacman in the first fight with Marquez. In fact, Manny's left to Marquez's chin after he was down was harder than Soto's punch last night.
