I agree, to all my Mexican brothers, we need to stop with the propaganda. Dissing Ricans for the past 50 years as brought us nothing but heartache. We have not advanced, we are still crossing the border for dollars. Why do we insist on trying to down another man??? When we are not dissing their style of Spanish, we are trying to pretend that only Ricans are on welfare. This is a 19070s inspired B movie subplot, and yet we cling to it as it is vital to our mexicanoness. As if somehow, we are now Irish or Spaniard by simply dissing Puerto Ricans. I completely agree my Mexican amigo, let me add that we puerto ricans need to stop coming up with the whole "mexicans envy us" bs because its always us that start the hate and diss the great mexicanos for what they have done in boxing, they are great fighters and we are just too damn bitter, we are the ones first insulting them and then point the finger at them and say they start it first.. lets stop this papi! lets just admit that we envy them.

I grew up watching Chavez Sr. and I am saddened to se the current state of our fighters. That fight with Ponce and Juanma had me depressed for the past 2 weeks. it's all up to Margarito now to lift the Mexican pride again.
