Are Pacquiao and Mayweather the same size?

On the one hand you have a guy that turned pro at 19 years, 7 1/2 months at 131, while the other was defending his title at 112 lbs. You have a guy that weighed in at 150 last year to fight DLH and you have a guy that a few months ago was fighting at 130. I won't get into the obvious height and reach differences.

Mayweather was 148 against DLH. What weight was Pacman against David Diaz?

mayweather's weight in his last three fights: 146, 150, 148.

pacquiao's weights in his last three fights: 144, 146, 147

          Yeah... MASSIVE difference

Pac just fought a few months ago at 130, Mayweather couldn't make 130 today unless he cut off an arm or leg.

Pac at 135 is like Mayweather at 147 when compared by ratio; taking their frame into perspective, as well as what weight they started at and how heavy they've both fought as pros.

I think right now there about the same size now since Mayweather fought Oscar and weighed in about 147 on fight night and last night Pacman weigh about 147 against diaz.

Though they weigh close to the same at fight night. The difference is in the training leading up to the fight. Pacman BALOONS back up, whereas Mayweather can comfortably stay at the weight. BIG DIFFERENCE.

Floyd is the bigger guy. Floyd's most effective weight imho was 140-135, while Pacquiao's most effective weight was at 126-122.

at 140 Floyd had no problem hurting his opponents, but struggled to hurt Baldomir and DLH.

Pac was a buzzsaw at 122 and 126 but he doesn't fight with the same intensity at the higher weights. at 126 he knocked down JMM 3 times. at 130 he only knocked down JMM once and couldn't put away Mab in the rematch.
