David Haye To Possibly Face Monte Barrett in October?

Ya I know, both Barrett and Rahman are top 10 fighters. Haye is not bad but he is losing respect from all this **** talking and not backing it up.Comment

He talks a lot of ****, but how could he not be backing it up? You don't even know who he's going to fight yet. And if it is Barrett or Rahman that's not really that bad. I mean heavyweight is a very weak division. If Haye KO'd both of them impressively I'd say put him in with Peter and see what happens.Comment

Barrett and Rahman are both shot to pieces...Beating those 2 guys dosent really prove anything. He talks a lot of ****, but how could he not be backing it up? Hypejob Haye lied to us about fighting top guys....He wants to take the easy route to a big payday against Wlad.Comment

He could wait until he's had 35 fights, then fight a decent HW, like Klitschko did; but that wouldn't be very good.Comment

I guess man. Heavyweight is just a weak division. Chagaev won't fight Haye. Arreola has other plans. I doubt Witherspoon wants to get KO'd again. Peter has a fight. Barrett and Rahman really are about the best available.
Anyway, I think Klitchko would probably beat Haye, but I'll definitely be rooting for Haye.Comment

Haye may have picked the wrong time to fight Barret. He seems to be on some type of resurgence since his embarassing loss to Couser. The fact that the date is so far out may turn out to be better for the Hayemaker, though. This is the perfect size, punch and experience for Haye, and don't forget we still have to see how he takes a real HW punch!Comment
