Soto definetly deserves it. Valero hasn't beaten anyone and has been put on the canvas before. Marquez, Casa, Guzman, and campbell are all fighting each other and this fight makes perfect sense. This fight will also make more money since Soto is a mexican fighter and he's known to be a hard punching aggressive fighter. Cortez ****ed up big time. Hopefully Arum recognizes soto.

i think that's why soto was on the undercard. plus as wbc 130 champ he gets a shot at the 135 champ.

cortez screwed soto up for sure. he could've gotten a nice payday and more recognition if he got his shot at manny. losing to manny wouldn't even hurt humberto's 130 career. he'd still have his belt and great name recognition win or lose vs. manny.
