Yep, the new American hope is a 37 year old with 5 losses.

He isn't going to break any new ground in the heavyweight scene, it's just that he was pumped up for a fight against an overrated boxer.

I see you are one of those bandwagon jumpers who start calling their man 'overrated' and 'overhyped' after a loss.

This fight was like Calzaghe-Lacy, Hopkins-Trinidad, Ali-Liston and Douglas-Tyson, no one gave Barrett a chance in hell against the p4p number 1 boxer in the world but after Barrett knocks Fields out, he is now suddenly 'overrated'.

Two Gunz simply packed too much dynamite in his fists, too much even for Tye's titanium jaw. It was like Foreman - Frazier all over again.

Barrett is the man to beat right now.

Did you just say Tye Fields was the #1 P4P boxer?

Anyway we'll see about Barrett. I think he's had his day but who knows?

Well the great God Tye Fields showed some great love and care for Monte Barrett last night. Tye found out that Monte's son has a bad case of tyelemia and took a dive so he could set up Barrett for some better money fights in the future to take care of that disease.

Shows exactly that even though Tye can be brutal and unforgiving he has a big heart. At The Church of Tye of Latter-Day Fields we were wrong in our predictions of a resurrection, but instead got a crucifiction. Tye sacrificed himself in embarassing fashion for the betterment of Monte and his family. We forgot there has to be a crucifiction before the resurrection. It's what happened to jesus and it's what's going to happen to Tye.
