135 is perfect for manny. i say sign a deal for ricky as soon as possible. fight once at 140 vs. ricky and go back down to 135 and start going for all the other belts at 135.

a loss to ricky doesn't hurt him. a loss to a nobody at 140 does. just go for the big boy at 140 once and win or lose go back to 135.
What about Malignaggi? I think that fight might be interesting.

it's because floyd doesn't get challenged and far superior to his opponents. to a skeptic they will always find a reason to say something bad. if there are people who talk bad about ali do you think floyd will be spared from criticism?

manny slugs and gets hit. he's not a technical boxer. so when he's jumping up to higher weight classes even if it's not the greatest guy out there the added size is dangerous to manny.

He's done it once, he fought Marquez, Barrera and Morales for belts he didn't cherry pick his way to the title

i think paulie beats him. no point in a paulie fight. no money.

          same with witter.

manny is not roy or floyd. he can't jump to 140 or 147 unless it's a specific kind of guy that he can beat.

the only 140 guy i see him have a chance with style wise is ricky. ricky is stronger but manny has speed and reach on him and the height is the same.

styles make fights and you put him up against a 140 or 147 lb. marquez type counterpuncher/boxer and manny is gonna get koed.

Wait a second, if Pacquiao is now the world's best (or close to it), shouldn't he be held to the same standards?

He is a legend, a Hall of Famer and a modern-day Azumah. But he's also gotten off very easy for certain things such as rematch a washed up Barrera who was coming off a LOSS, rematching Erik Morales when Morales had just come off a pathetic loss, then he knocks Morales out and fights him a third time! Trust me, if Floyd did that, these boards would turn upside down. And I'm no Floyd apologist.

                really?

i don't pay attention to who is a fan of who and such.

you mean most of these guys are serious?

                .........that's sad.

i can see a hatton. because he's short for a super lightweight and his style matches up well with manny.

but anyone else at 140 or above....... don't know about that.
