Valero V Pac is murder waiting to happen

First off I like Valero very much. He is an exciting fighter with good but not great power(dont be deceived by his ko rate), a decent work rate, and always controls the ring well. BUT this man is going to get his career ruined if he just jumps in with pac right now. He will probably be ko'd in under 6 and him being not a star would really hurt him badly IMO. Everyone he has faced has been Tye Fields esque so instead of stepping into fire he should fight someone a little lesser than Pac. 1 big loss + not fighting no one=disaster waiting to happen for your career in my eyes.

The reason why Valero's is being brought up because

    Guzman-Campbell
    Casamayor-Marquez
    Katsidis-Juan Diaz
    Hatton-Maliggnagi

Have all fights this fall.. Since Pac has a November HBO date, most likely Valero is the only available option right now

I think if Soto won then it would be Pac/Soto in November.

Seriously, how can you say that Valero doesn't have great power? Sure he hasn't faced the best competition, but nobody has even come close to going the distance with him. IMO until someone stands up to his power, it can't be doubted.

Not saying that Valero beats Pac, but the guy has MURDEROUS power. Have you seen some of his knockouts? Guys left scrambling, guys left trying to find their feet, guys flat unconscious on the apron. The guy hits harder than Pacquiao, but won't nesecarily beat him.

I have seen a few of his fights on youtube and even ordered the ppv with him and Linares on it. Yeah he has power but Im not buying it being devastating power. Till he steps in the ring with a real fighter that has a real chin I will compare him to a guy like kimbo(even tho valero has proven skills). For all I know Guzman probably has more power.

I wanna see this fight. I'd go wit Pac but Valero's pop could be over or underrated. We don't know cuz he ain't faced any big names wit proven chins.

Valero does have one really quality win over Vicente Mosquera, who did have a good chin, that being said, Mosquera is not Marquez, Morales, Barrera, Sanchez, Diaz or even Solis. I do feel that Valero is better than the last three listed however and would have a decent chance.

The only thing he has got going for him in a fight against Pacquiao is his power.

I don't know if I truly believe that. Valero is so unproven and Pac has good power. Pac power may actually be underrated.
