To those who said Pacquiao's speed is declining...

Based on the last fight tomight, do you think his speed and power declined as he increased weight?

When I saw the fight, I thought pac looked a lot slower..thats just my opinion, I could be wrong. but I felt he was WAY slower, and maybe his power didn't carry thru.
maybe thats why it took him that long to ko diaz

I thought he was slightly slower but he's still very fast for a lightweight.

Pac's speed and power remain as they were before. He was very effective and dominant against Diaz because Diaz was very SLOW. He had absolutely no defense against Manny. Give credit to David's conditioning and endurance that enabled him to stay for nine rounds of beating. Lesser men would have kissed the canvas much earlier.

A bit slower from his usual self but I think david diaz has to be the slowest fighter Pacman has fought for a while,He made Pacman look like Ben johnson on speed.

I thought he had the same amount of speed to be honest, the difference was that he was fighting a smarter fight. Unlike a while back, everyone shot Manny makes is precise and well timed, and he doesn't steam in at 100mph.

Add to that he has more power at Lightweight as well. A scary thought.

            He looked fantastic.

I think Katsidis and Juan Diaz will share the same fate as David Diaz if they ever fought Pac in my opinion..

Pac's speed is about the same. Pac's power is somewhat diminished because it took so long to KO Diaz, but Diaz is a rugged and tough fighter.
