    Enjoy

Terrible stoppage imo, but the way he explains it, it does make sense

Soto did throw two punches at Lorenzo while he was on one knee, one of those punches hitting him.
Sucks, but I can see why Joe did what he did.

According to Cortez, if the fighter is unable to continue there is a disqualification. Lorenzo is a better actor than fighter

Good call by Joe, it sucks for Soto, but rules are rules. If anything, Lorenzo is the one that should be getting all the hate for pretending that the blow to the head hurt him more than it actually it did.

i HATE Wally Mathews, but he does a DAMN good interview. Always good interviews with him.

Anyway, i can see why he DQ'd him had he seen no replay and was going off what he orignally saw.

But i believe he SAW a replay, and still DQ'd him. thats rediculous. you can DQ a fighter like that.

Lorenzo was bobbing and weaving ON HIS KNEES. Its impossible for Soto to make a split second reaction like that, when Lorenzo still seems to be fighting.

I've seen much worse violations be ignored. Berto did something similar last week that everyone let pass. To take a world title away from a man for that is sickening.

The thing most people have to realize is...you're not in the ring when that **** is happening. Sometimes referees ake bad judgement calls based on thier concerns for certain fighters safety. You can't really acknowledge their in-ring abilities as a referee until you're put int he situation where a fighter is being hit and pummeled on the canvas, even though it didnt' really seem like Soto was going hard that bad.

Honestly, in all sincerity Cortez mad a bad stoppage, but in this day and ae with safety being such a big concern, I can see why he reacted the way he did. However, Soto did get shafted.

He wasn't able to continue? Hmmm I wonder why..

Because he was gushing blood, because of punches being landed.

That **** looked planned out lovely, Lorenzo is a ****. A disgrace to the sport for pulling some **** like that.

Accept defeat you ****ing ancient fossil.
