    Lamps was really off tonight

Anyone else notice the mistakes that Jim lampley kept making tonight?

    Things that bugged me:
-Say Terdsack Jandeng was from Korea when from Thailand
-Saying Edwin Valero fought at featherweight (didn't catch this that clear)
-Saying Manny Pacquiao is going for his 4th world title when it was his 5th
-Linares was going to fight at 130 soon when he's made no indication of moving up

And the number one thing that bugged me most:

Him implying that Humberto Soto actually beat Joan Guzman

They just need Larry Merchant, Mike Tyson, and Roy Jones as commentators. That is the most entertaining team I could think of. It'd go like this.......

    Larry: Pacquiao is.......an unstoppable.....force of....nature.
Roy: Look like a crazy cat in dere ta' me! He throwin' all kindsa' punches at all kindsa' angles. Remind me of Roy Jones in his prime!
Tyson: Pak-e-ow is much faster than Diaz!

In his defense, Linares has said he wants to move up.

I thought he did better on the play by play. I was watching some older fights and I was like "Damn he really used to get into it."

When he was doing Mayweather-Hatton he should have been a lot more excited. In Luevano-Santiago, he brought out one of the reasons why I like boxing so much and why he's my favorite commentator.

I was actually wondering why neither Merchant nor Kellerman were working. What's the word on that?
