However, the Setanta team are now talking up a Cotto vs Pacquiao fight, so i'm never going to listen to a word they say ever again.

Yes, Pacquiao is very good. But beating the likes of David Diaz in any fashion outside of Diaz pissing his pants on the way to the ring and slipping into a coma out of fear doesn't make me any more impressed.

He did look great tonight. Diaz is just not his level though. But like it's been said, he is nowhere near as bad as Pacman made him look.

Ive always said that David was the weakest beltholder at LW, even when it was Julio, Juan and David.

but that was an amazing performance regardless. Pacquiao has more skill than people give him credit for.

I have to admit that David stuck around for much longer than I thought he would, and didnt think he would get put out like that with a counter left hand. the cut was nasty too.

and man that guy is big now. 12lb gain in one night at a new weight class? geez.

Never mind about the shutout or measuring the value of the fight based on how good Diaz is, what about the way Pacquiao boxed? Speed, aggression, movement, power and above all the way he puts it all together. You simply don't see that very often, ever.

He's got to be the most exciting boxer in the world to see...he kept the combos coming all night and showed that he really can box and the footwork was amazing. I can't help but think was diaz that bad or pac that good.

David Diaz was certainly tailor made for Manny but it is still impressive, I didn't figure he would be able to take him out. I knew his speed would play a big factor if Manny was going to win but he used it to outbox Diaz more then i expected. Good **** even if David Diaz is not that great of a boxer.

He put on a show. The way he dominated the fight with his right hand was impressive. It was the best Pacquiao I've ever seen.
