He can get some mileage out of being a popular TV fighter. He'll be matched against made to order opposition on ESPN and be fed to upcoming prospects on HBO BAD and Shobox. It's a living I guess.Comment

I agree. I don't think that HBO would accept anything less than a real test for Litzau now, unlike before when HBO approved of Jose Hernandez who was supposed to be an easy fight for an undefeated guy they were pushing.
Now Litzau would have to be in against another HBO caliber fighter to make that HBO money.
I can see a lot of ESPN2 fights in Minneapolis with Litzau selling a lot of tickets in the future.Comment

Gatti's exit should've been after his trilogy with Ward. His 3 losses following that were embarassing. All of Gatti's fights were action packed and he had loads of heart.
IF he could have stayed focused long enough and spent less time in the tanning bed & partying he could have been much better than he was.Comment

most rankings don't even have him in the top 10 for featherweights.
i think he should strongly consider moving up a weightclass. he's got size & great reach, i'm sure he would be more natural with a little more weight.Comment

Heart doesn't equal great.
Action fights don't equal great.
Gatti is a middling fighter who got destryoed by every A or B guy he fought.Comment
