Not the end of the day yet my friend. Morales may have been older than Pacquiao but they turned pro at the same age. Pacquiao is now the same age as Morales when he retired and still looking like he has a couple more good years in him.

      Barrera > Erik Morales

      Because of his comebacks.

But Morales didnt have the feel for boxing on the 3rd Barrera fight

yes, kinda hard to turn southpaw by accident. lol. But yea, he was just trying to show his mochismo and everything, but he did get his ass kicked in that round. And David Diaz is a southpaw. A more natural southpaw for sure, but still, i dont think it'll be THAT bad for Pacquiao

Idk about that. He may have been the better fighter, but when its all said and done and Pacquiao retires, i dont think Morales will necesarily have the greater legacy. I mean, wins over Marquez, Barrera AND Morales, as well as a possible reign at Lightweight? thats legendary stuff right there.

I agree with you. Barrera was better. Don't tell Hyperion that though.. He will go crazy.

there was so much drama involving gloves in that trilogy. it hyped up the fights even more.

fight 1 winning-winning = manny was at a disadvantage because of the gloves.

fight 2 reyes-winning = manny won because of reyes gloves now.

fight 3 reyes-reyes = erik is gonna go for the ko he's wearing cleto-reyes.

there was so much back and forth before , in between and after those fights between manny and erik fans. it was great!

David Diaz was even luckier to catch Morales in his final fight, after the three wars with Pac. Even then Diaz couldn't finish him.

Note to self: watch Erik Morales-Manny Pacquiao 1 soon.

Also Larry Merchant had that fight a draw?! Um...

edit: It's hard to choose who is better between Morales-Barrera. Head to head Barrera was better, but resume wise Morales and I think he was somewhat of a better fighter at 122. Morales took care of Junior Jones pretty easy while Barrera got his ass kicked.
