You overestimate Floyd's popularity. The media is very positive about him, but people who watch him fight are turned off from boxing.

Anyone who watches Pacquiao becomes a fan.
LOL you are so blinded by your LOVE for Pacman that you have yet to look at the facts, Mayweather has made millions more then Pacman, you don't make millions more if you aren't popular lol. No offense but this is a business like it or hate it, Mayweather is a fantastic business man, he will come back and make more in one fight then Pacman has made in 3. You make money based on popularity, skill, and character, most people who have met with PBF says he is a lot different then how he acts on TV. I don't like him but dude is much more popular and will be compared to all time greats, get over it. You look at Pacman, and you can honestly say that he loses to a lot of greats. Even if he fought a prime EM or MAB he would most likely have lost badly.

108 is a pretty decent sample size. And these are, after all, boxing fans.

PBF did not clean out the 140 pound division, he never beat the linear champion, Kostya Tszyu. He skipped it, in fact he only faced 3 fighters at 140 and none of them were really all that great, Gatti, Bruseles, and Corley(although 2 of the 3 were champs) or top 140 pounders.

While he was in the division Tszyu lost the belt, but he never wanted to fight him and can you blame him? He followed a lot of the 140 pounders to 147.

          Now my post to others.
All that said PBF is still the more accomplished fighter. Come on he has beat more champs then Pac and he only needed one fight against most fighters(Castillo beat him the first time I thought) to prove he was more superior not 3, against 3 fighters(he still hasn't proved he is better then JMM in my book).

But Mayweather is naturally a 140 pound fighter. He is only 5'8 size wise he wouldn't really have a huge advantage over Pac, Pac walks around at the same weight. Fact is that Pac would lose embarrassingly against PBF it would be a disgusting and out classed loss, he should avoid the hell out of him.

It really matters WHO it is though. I see more credible posters voting for Floyd than I do for Manny.
Half of Manny's votes are from new posters who most likely recently joined or are alt accounts.

No, the real boxing fans and the more intelligent posters voted for Manny.

You just can't accept the truth because you're in love with Floyd.

              Pacquiao > Floyd, that's reality!

Floyd Mayweather should've been an accountant not a boxer.

Floyd will be remembered as a boring, unpopular fighter, and the coward who ducked Cotto and retired because he was afraid of a rematch with past-prime De La Hoya. Manny will be remembered as an exciting and very popular fighter who never avoided anybody.
No question Pacquiao. Mayweather had amazing talent, but decided to move on to a division where he could be easily and incredibly overpowered (as in Margarito), so then he decided to make fights that would enhance his bank account instead of his legacy.

He should have stayed at 140.
