You overestimate Floyd's popularity. The media is very positive about him, but people who watch him fight are turned off from boxing.
Anyone who watches Pacquiao becomes a fan.

While he was in the division Tszyu lost the belt, but he never wanted to fight him and can you blame him? He followed a lot of the 140 pounders to 147.
Now my post to others.
All that said PBF is still the more accomplished fighter. Come on he has beat more champs then Pac and he only needed one fight against most fighters(Castillo beat him the first time I thought) to prove he was more superior not 3, against 3 fighters(he still hasn't proved he is better then JMM in my book).
But Mayweather is naturally a 140 pound fighter. He is only 5'8 size wise he wouldn't really have a huge advantage over Pac, Pac walks around at the same weight. Fact is that Pac would lose embarrassingly against PBF it would be a disgusting and out classed loss, he should avoid the hell out of him.Last edited by poeticlsykuac; 06-29-2008, 03:38 PM.

You just can't accept the truth because you're in love with Floyd.

Floyd will be remembered as a boring, unpopular fighter, and the coward who ducked Cotto and retired because he was afraid of a rematch with past-prime De La Hoya. Manny will be remembered as an exciting and very popular fighter who never avoided anybody.
He should have stayed at 140.
