Julio C. Chavez questions Oscars manhood if he doesnt fight his son!

It was on a spanish language sports show on telefutura. Chavez sr. called out oscar and said taht if Oscar thinks he's a man, he should fight his son. If he does, then he will respect him, as of now , he does not respect him even though he lost to Oscar 2x.

Still after all these yrs , Chavez sr. is still a sore loser and wont give Oscar his props.....................sad and bitter old man.

I was a big Chavez fan back in the day, but lost all respect and stopped pulling for him after the Randall fight. He was a sore loser and refused to give Randall credit. He even went as far as saying he was going to take Richrad Steele to court and sue him for the loss......

I don't know if this interveiw was from when he was on the piolin show but Chavez did give respect to Delahoya. Thing is Delahoya talked **** about Chavez saying, "Chavez wanted me to take it easy on him" ......"He didn't knock me down in sparring" ........"Chavez was drunk as i was out to go on my morning run." Chavez called Delahoya a lot of bad things as i would have too.

But Chavez in the same sentence said he did respect Delahoya but "He should fight my son, so he can be in my shoes and see how it feels to be old and fight a young and up and comer, let him be in my shoes, i gave him a chance now he can give Jr. a chance."

I recored the whole Chavez interview from the Piolin show. Touched on a whole lot of personal things in Chavez career. Great interview for a true Chavez fan.

Oscar would ruin Chavez jr...................ruin him.

Chavez will never respect Oscar, too much pride to do that. Even though Chavez quit against Oscar , he will never fully give him his props.

In terms of fight yrs, Oscar fighting Chavez is about the same as Oscar fighting Floyd......

Way too early for Chavez Jr. to step into the ring with DLH, if Chavez Sr. wants his son to lose to DLH as well, go ahead.

oh yeah, they also said taht Oscars last fight was against either Cotto or Margarito. But then contradicted themselves by saying that GBP's plans are for a Tito fight.............ugh.

Like i said he said himself he respects Delahoya. But he wants Delahoya to face a young Chavez. Unless he mean i again wont respect him for not accepting the fight.

Thats the way it sounded, if Oscar wont fight his son, he wont respect him. If Oscar is hombrecito con pantalones, then he should fight my son, is what i understood him saying.

Honestly, Chavez will never get over losing to and quiting to Oscar.

Thats not what i got from hearing his interview. He's made peace with Delahoya. But now maybe he's talking as a promoter/manger with all this Jr/Delahoya talk. And really he has a point.

Oh, and he says that everybody knew or at least could tell that he had a cut before he went into the 1st Delahoya fight but that they looked the other way.

He just wants his son to get paid before he loses to a different fighter with a lesser name and misses out on his cash cow in Oscar.
