Richard Abril gave a boxing lesson to Breidis Prescott and after all of the low blows he was hitting abril with only one point was deducted. The last judge 92-97 score seem like he was sleeping for the most part and didnt event know he was judging a professional bout. Now we wonder why the sport of boxing has lost its glamour and respect from the fans when the right decisions are not given to the right boxer. As for the politics of boxing we will let you figure that out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been high on Abril for a long time, since I saw his early fights. But I felt the fight was close enough to be a draw. I dont think the low blows were bad or even low enought to warrant any more than the point deduction given. However, I do agree that judge shouldnt be allowed to judge fights for awhile. That score was WAY off. I agreed with the other judges, I had it to Abril by a point, but the rounds were a bit tough to judge...fight was extremely close. So I would have understood a SD or MD.
