An era is at least a decade in boxing terms. LOL at these 2-3 years posts. Just goes to show how short-term memory based this forum is.
What is our era in Boxing?

Despite the fact that it's sad that those other guys are gonna hang them up soon(not Holy though) but I must say, the future is looking bright imo.^what he said.
Except I think Hatton and Pac belong is Last era. They've been fighting a while and Pac doesn't have far to go until he runs out of weigh classes, he might be able to handle some Jr. Welters like Bradley (inexperienced) but the others are just too big. Hatton is almost done unfortuanately and he should be looking to finish his career with a Malignaggi fight then maybe a Bradley/Kotelnik fight for his last and then retire on top.
I'd say last era is Trinidad, Floyd, Roy Jones Jr, Oscar, Hatton, Pac-man, Chris John, Barrera, Juan Manuel Marquez, Morales, Lennox, Tyson, Holyfield, Hopkins, Calzaghe, Casamayor, Campbell, Mosely, Mayorga, Vargas, Forrest, Judah, Winky Wright, Glen Johnson, Mormeck, Bell.
New Era is Klitchko, Haye, Mijares, Cotto, Margarito, Williams, Pavlik, Taylor, Abraham, Kessler, Berto, Gamboa, Khan, BJ Flores, Rafael Marquez, Vazquez, Calderon, Donaire, Guzman, Valero, Arthur Abraham, Katsidis, Juan Diaz, Malignaggi, Bradley, Mora, Clottey, Lpoez, Ponce De Leon, Dawson, Cunningham, MaccarinelliComment
