I'm glad Nate got his payoff and is set to make some nice bank, I've always liked him ever since he came in as an unbeaten underdog and took it to Casamayor in a brilliant 10 rounder about 5 years ago, that one coulda went either way, he's had his ups and downs but now he's in the drivers seat and he has everything to lose. Guzman will be an excellent fight for him, Joan takes rounds off and gets lazy, Nate doesn't, he's a 12-round fighter who applies a lot of pressure on you.

I think lightweight is explosive right now, Nate, Casamayor, Katsidis, Diaz, Pacquiao, Khan, now Marquez too, ideally we'd like to see the winner of Nate-Guzman fight Pac-Diaz winner, and maybe the winner of Casa-Marquez against Diaz-Kats winner, you almost want there to be a soccer style elimination tournament to clarify 135 lb right now

Actually he would, you win the ring belt 3 ways. The number 1 guy fights the number 2 guy in the division. You beat the champion OR you unify the 4 major world titles. Campbell will do so with the latter.

I totally agree with Nate on this one but some where in there the winner of Casamayor and Juan Diaz needs to be squeezed in there, Casamayor unfortunately is the linear champ

Nate v. Guzman should be a very good fight. My concern with this letter is that Nate might be looking past Joan G., and that would be a huge mistake. Even bigger than his arrogance against Robbie Peden.

Good luck to both of you this Saturday. I know alot of folks are predicting Manny to win this with ease, but I also know it ain't gonna happen that easily. But that's neither here nor there. I'm writing this letter because I want the winner of your fight to really consider the history that could be made by fighting the winner of my September 13th fight with Joan Guzman, which of course I am confident will be me :-) Anyways, the winner of your fight in meeting the winner of my fight has the chance to do something that has only been done once in the history of boxing. A complete unification of the IBF,WBO, WBC, and WBA world titles. The only other person in history to accomplish that feat was Bernard Hopkins. Roy never did it. Oscar never did it. Floyd never did it. Nobody except Bernard ever did it. [details]

At least Campbell is willing to fight these guys. He could be ducking fighters like other champions. The only thing thats a big turn off is his mouth. Just shut up and fight.
