Actually, Danny did recently say that Haye is several leagues above the rest of the domestic scene and that - outside of Tyson and Vitali (presumably Airich too*) - Haye hits harder than anyone he's faced as they've sparred.

As much as it pains me to say it, I can see Haye taking out the slow starting Danny quite easily.

        * Danny said that he was shocked by Airich having Klitschko-level power.

I have to say Haye man, Williams was a great fighter in his prime, but dodging punches from a quick bouncy guy like Haye was not his speciality. His defence nor movement isn't good enough, and he wouldn't be clever or quick enough to tag Haye so it'd get frustrated and toyed with.

Big punching Danny spills Haye's impressive collection of rare china all over the canvas in the first round.

Even if Williams was in his prime I'd expect a Haye victory. Now it wouldn't even be worth watching.

Haye is an active lean pro athelte, Danny is just a burger bastard who fights bums. Don't get me wrong, i used to love the old heavyweight domestic fights between him and Audley etc. but Haye is a class above.
