Alex Arthur & Amir Khan top bill Sept 6th

WBO super-featherweight champion Alex Arthur will defend his title on the same bill as Amir Khan on 6 September.

No announcement has been made on the opponents for both fighters for the bill at the MEN Arena in Manchester.

Arthur, 29, was declared the WBO champion in May after Joan Guzman gave up his title.

The 21-year-old Khan will defend his Commonwealth lightweight title after keeping his belt in a bruising bout against Michael Gomez on 21 June.

No announcement has been made on who will broadcast the bill in Manchester.

I think Khan will probably move to Setanta now, as his contract with ITV has finished.
