It was about when Margarito first backed out of the Cotto fight to go and fight Williams for more money. Does anyone have that article? I've seem to have lost it and am tired of searching for it.
Another request: I need help finding an old article on here

Yeah thanks. I still can't find it though. Isn't there an article where Margarito says that Goosen was giving him more money then what he would have got for Cotto the first time around?
It was the article saying that the fight was officially signed. http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/box...ory?id=2818292
There is the ESPN one saying he gets a career high payday, but there's also a boxingscene article where it has a margarito quote saying that he got offered more money or something.Comment

Here it is. So I was wrong about a direct quote, but here it is:
So either Margarito "ducked" Cotto by taking the easier fight and more money (by NSB standards) or is just an idiot. As quick as the press release was sent out, Margarito backed out and signed a career high purse, claiming he would have made less money against Cotto and said that he saw Williams as the easier opponentComment
