Pavlik can't touch Calzaghe!

Pavlik would look so hopeless, it's not funny to see a good middleweight champ go through a senseless beat-down!

Can Pavlik counter Calzaghe?! Noway, he couldn't do even do it against Taylor.

Can Pavlik bully Calzaghe?! Not at all, Calzaghe easily makes 175 and his sparring partners are usually cruiser-weights.

Can Pavlik **** at 175?! When a fighter moves up, they usually lose some of the power and Pavlik really needs it, we don't know if he can transfer that power to light heavyweight.

Pavlik eats too many shots, Calzaghe's accuracy is deadly, I expect a late round TKO if this fight ever happens.

If you think Pavlik wins somehow, feel free to explain how on Earth he does it.

COuld be true... but, like most questions in Calzaghe's career, we'll probably never really know. THat might be fun for you... it's not for me. Whatever... have fun rooting for a phony. His already run through the reality TV circuit... now he can finish off the seniors... Enjoy your cheerleading!

It's OK though, it comes with the territory.

Pavlik does not need to counter Calzaghe to win this bout,he just need to flow with the agression.When Calzaghe steps forward Kelly should step back and land his one two bomb.I think you forgetting Pavlik has a reach advantage as well as height.There is no need bully Calzaghe when you can outwork him on the outside.I think you can agree that Pavlik has a higher work rate than kessler and he uses a similar right hand.Kelly can utilize just about any combo off of his jab.If the fight is at 168 I would give Pavlik a good shot at 175 not so much as his power may be zapped.

1st of all you're forgetting that Kessler has a much better jab than Pavlik.
Not only that but Kessler has much better footwork as well.

Calzaghe can easily take away your jab with unorthodox lateral movement and Pavlik is not known for having a lead right hand.

Pavlik can't even fight going backwards, he just waits for his opponent to punch himself out, you can't do that against Calzaghe.
Fighting Calzaghe is not as simple as you're making it out to be.

To beat Calzaghe you HAVE to be an exceptional counter puncher, like Popkins! Pavlik can't counter-punch and that would be his down fall!
