If Chris John beats Rocky Juarez he will become an Elite Fighter

in my eyes. He is undefeated fighting at home. Two best wins are Derek Gainer and a controversial win over Marquez, nonetheless its a great name on his resume. IMO he is not elite just yet, but this fight will put him over the hump as one of the better fighters in the world. However if he loses i feel he will be labeled as a fraud who got lucky fighting at home

I was there for the Marquez fight, John won it was close but alot of boxing websites had John winning although it was closer than the cards show.
thesweetscience.com, fightreport.net and the ring magazine's representative had it in favour of John.

To me an elite fighter is a fighter who beats fighters who are at his level or above. John has fought 1 fighter who was above or right at his level and that was Marquez, everyone else were C level fighters

too much controversy associated with the guy. i personally don't remember many websites that had him honestly beating JMM.

if say he KO's juarez, there's no denying the guy i suppose.
