Monte Barrett will likely defeat Tye Fields

Tye might have been a top boxer had he started at a younger age, and if he had some amateur experience. He seems like a great guy. He's very fit, with excellent stamina and an amazing work rate for a man his size.

But Monte Barrett is a bona fide heavyweight who's been in with Wladimir Klitschko and other world class fighters. I believe we will see an excellent effort from Tye Fields on Saturday, but he will be outclassed and defeated by Monte.

Barrett would be a stepping stone for a real contender, but I don't think people realize how much better he is than the guys who Fields has been beating. Huge step up in class.

            Exactly.

I'm not saying Barrett is a world-beater, but he's a decent fringe contender. Fields has been fighting a lot of bums like Koval.

It may sound blasphemous here on NSB, but I tend to agree with you Tunney. Fields is going down!

I once saw a man throw a brick full force at Tye's face from about 2 feet away in Mexico City. Tye didn't even budge. He just smiled.
