    What amazes me is...

    If you asked me to I could probably name 20 mid to late 80's 160 pounders off the top of my head with no problem....without looking it up...but I couldnt do the same for the time period we are in right now Network TV back then made those guys VERY visible and memorable

      Hopefully Showtime and CBS can work out a deal to broadcast some boxing on network TV because no boxing on network TV definitely is hurting boxing.

              I am telling you the truth.....more than half of those guys I have not only never seen before but I have never even heard of them. But in the 80's, off the top of my head you had...Hagler, Hearns, Nunn, Tate, Olijade, Parker, Sibson, John Collins, Leonard, Fully Obel, Robbie Sims, Murray Sutherland, Ernie Singletary, Curtis Parker, Alex Ramos, Caveman Lee, Kinchen, Roldan, Mark Kaylor, Buster Drayton, etc etc etc Iran Barkley, Lindell Holmes, Mike McCallum, Michael Watson, Benn, Eubank, Van Horn, etc etc

                Iceman you prolly knew those guys by name easy back then because they were possible opponents for you in that day. Now that your not fighting you arent keeping tabs on as many fighters probably.

                  No, those guys were fighting when I was still amateur. I knew them because each one of them was on FREE Network TV each weekend. Czyz and Hamsho, too
