Chris Arreola: Real Deal or Fake

OK so hes not the savior of the Heavyweight division. But he puts on great fights for the fans. I guess we wont know his true potential until he fights a top heavyweight.

He's fun to watch no doubt and has shown a decent chin, but we will really find out against the big punchers of the HW division. Im excited to see him fight those kind of guys in the future.

I saw Chris "The Nipple" Arrolea getting outboxed by a blown up cruiser once. He ain't gonna make it.

I havent seen a lot from Arreola yet, but I think hes looked pretty good in the fights I saw him in. Of course he still has to be tested, but to me it seems like he can become a top 10 fighter. For sure hes got an exciting style, so Im really interested how he will continue his career.

I found it strange after watching him that he'd had over 200 amateur fights, the guy looks raw and awkward as hell. But he does seem to have some pop and is very aggressive with a good chin. I wish him well.

Arreola is somewhat limited in boxing skills and was about 10 pounds overweight for his fight with Witherspoon, but he's tough as heck and a strong puncher.

Jason Estrada is calling him out, so that may be his next fight.

he has a lot of potential but is very unpolished. as of right now and in the near future with the HW division looking like total gong water, arreola has a good chance with some refinement, he certianly has the pressure and the heart, and a decent beard so far................

he stays on the route that he's going, he'll do fine, and make some real good fights for us to watch............he has a fan friendly style which is what he HW's are desperately needing.......

I'm not sure, having a look at his boxrec stats.

Possibly the commentators were saying that the opponent looked like a blown up cruiser and I'd misremembered? Certainly he wasn't a natural heavy, but was outboxing The Nipple until he got stopped.

I don't think The Nipple will be a genuine top ten fighter.

Estrada brings nothing to the table. I can't see HBO buying that. Arreola is shooting for Tua, or at least some name heavyweight next. He may not be world class, but Cris will be a tough fight for almost anyone.
