Do you like fighters as boxers, persons, or both? I was just thinking about some fighters I am a fan of. Sometimes when I see stuff on them outside of the ring it gets me thinking on how I disagree on certain things they do, think, or take part in. So I start wondering if I should contribute to them or not, but in the end, they still entertain me. What to do?

Those who are good sports and clean fighters inside the ring, usually have good character outside. Kelly Pavlik is a good example.

Those who use dirty tactics when fighting and are poor sports after they lose, often have been in jails or prisons. B-Hop is the perfect example.

We usually catch our first glimpse of a fighter when they're fighting in the ring. So a post fight press conference with some nasty words probably won't reverse your impression of that fighter when you initially saw them. Basically: if they're good, they're good.

I'm a Zab Judah fan.. So of course I disagree with alot of the **** he does. Sometimes I wish he'd be more low key so I didn't have to deal with more ammo against me in boxing debates. Lol...

I used to be a Mayweather fan, but I never liked him as a person. I'm a huge Tyson fan too. So people's personality's aren't that big of a deal for me.

You can't be a Mayweather fan but not like him as a person outside of boxing. Becuase he puts on an act all the time as a fighter...

LOL.. Is he throwing dollar bills at his opponent?

Outside of the ring: Loud, confrontational... etc.

Inside of the ring: Cautious, probing, smart...

I don't think there is really any similairity.

I have to say both. I like Mayweather as a boxer but he acts like an idiot at the press conferences. (I know I know its all an act). But I can't judge the guy as a person, because I don't know him. Still this is why I like Cotto, Shane, Clottey & Jermain Taylor- they all seem like respectable people that dedicate themselves to what they do..

I'd have to say that I like Cotto's personality in and out of the ring simple reason being is that he just seems mad humble..I mean in the ring he's focused..not worried about showboating or trying to be too fancy..and outside the ring mainly after his wins he's not all in the camera sending shout-outs to his baby's mama's mama or screaming out CAGUAS!!! or **** like that..just a simple smirk and a bow to the crowd to show appreciation..and on to focus on the next opponent..

                My favorite fighters right now

                Cotto
                Mosley
                Pavlik
                Williams

Inside and outside of the ring I enjoy them from seeing what they can do in the ring to hearing what they have to say.

I kinda liked that about Tito, though. And I'm not even PR.. Lol.

                  I LOVE YOU PUERTO RRRRICO!

I am a huge Trinidad fan as a boxer, but not so much outside the ring. Him shouting Puerto Rico every five seconds and ******ed interviews, made him look like a pretty dumb individual.

Cotto on the other hand is an incredible brutal boxer in the ring and has serious, confident demeanor outside the ring. Which to me is more likeable than Tito's dumb outburst.
