I can't find a program to convert youtube vids (.flv) to gifs, how'd you do it? The tutorials online are no help

okay what i do is pretty long drawn out but ill explain anyway.

i download the video, then i use windows movie maker to edit what i want to use. then save it as a wmv file.

then i use apex video converter to convert it to an avi file. then i use ulead gif animator to make the gif. it doesnt accept wmv files so i had to convert.

i got these programs from demonoid, they probably have them on the piratebay too, id check it out.

there are probably easier ways but this is the way i do it.

it would be good if others could say how they do it

you can creat your own text, i think this is where most people get theirs

i dont think thats it because when i copy it doesnt come out transparent and it would be hard to use the magnetic lasoo. thanks anyhow.
