I really don't like open scoring.

I'm watching the Berto fight on demand, and they used it. I think it's ******, and I don't know why they do it. It kills the suspense I think.

Do any of you guys like it? I think it's terrible to be honest.

In some ways it adds to the suspense and in others it takes away from it. It adds to it as in a fighter will fight with more urgency KNOWING he is down in the cards rather than just speculating such.

I dont like the open scoring....I remember they used it for Cotto/Urkal....Urkal's trainers were so pissed they threw in the towel.

It keeps someone from coasting to a bad robbery loss.

I think Santa Cruz might have been gunning for the KO in the 12th had he head the open scores. Other than that... no value.

I think they should only tell them the scores before the 12th Round.

it sounds like a good idea but when practiced it's horrible. Anyone remember Bell/Mommerck II? That was on pace to be FIGHT OF THE YEAR but the open scoring KILLED IT! Once Mormeck learned he was winning the fight he just ran around the ring the remaining rounds.

              I'm totally against it.

I think there should be other things, like 10 judges, and there needs to be higher criteria in order to become a judge, proper training on how to score a round so that judges are on the same page, etc. etc. etc.
