I do have to say that if he was just going to fight rematches against people he already clearly beat, then he wasn't really doing his P4P title justice.

yeah i can dig it.. i'd like to see him fight cotto myself but if he never fights again im not trippin.. i just think its messed up he doesnt get recognized for all his accomplishments and that there is a double standard with him.. i know he plays an arrogant persona and all that but he is a talented fighter and has faced many top fighters and beat them

Last thing I will say about this, but... the alternate argument is that there never has been or never will be anyone as qualified for a fight with him as Cotto is. Really, it is the last thing that he would have had to do. Williams and Margarito may have had a bit of an argument for the next fight, but beating Cotto put the icing on the cake for his career if he did so.
