Taylor has lapses of concentration in pretty well all his fights.
Also has a habit of going straight back with his hands down.

Against Abraham that would be fatal.
(although he'd most likely be well ahead on points at the time of the stoppage...)

if taylor went 12 rounds with pavlik without getting seriously caught in the second fight hes not going to get kod by abraham

he takes this in UD or SD

Abraham will take his time and wait till Taylor is gassed out (6-7th round) and then he will knock him out.

i might agree...but pavlik throws punches all fight

taylor might get lured in by abraham's shell defense and get comfortable

i'd still go with Taylor UD

I think Taylor could win a UD but this is my second scenario..

I just don't see Taylor surviving AA.....AA is like Winky defensively but can hit like a truck. AA by brutal 8th round KO while down on the cards.

I had this exact same thought about Winky compared to AA, but then remembered that Pavlik pounded on Taylor all night long in the second fight and only came remotely close to putting him on the mat in the 11th with a body shot. Combine that with the fact that he got hit more by Pavlik in 6 rounds than he would likely get hit my AA in an entire fight... and I'm not sure AA gets the easy knockout here that so many are predicting.

I think AA is getting a little more hype than is warranted right now mostly because he KO'd a guy with zero defensive skills. The left hook that put Miranda down the second time was looping and should have easily been avoided - Miranda wasn't that out of it yet - but he just ****in' stared at it, hands at his sides, while it hit him in the jaw. Jermain may drop his hands a little low occasionally, but he's never gotten himself hit by crap shots like that one.

If Taylor can pump his jab for 12 rounds, I'd say Taylor. He has to get back to using the jab consistently. Against Pavlik he wasn't able to outjab him because of the height difference, but I think he'd have a good target with Abraham to control distance because Abraham's defense is to just keep his guard up. Abraham doesn't pick off jabs that much, though to be honest we've never seen him in a position where he has had to.

It's hard to jab somebody that covers up. Ask Taylor how many jabs he landed on Winky.
Ikeke tried to jab and he's a tall mofo. Nada. I favour Arthur over Pavlik mainly because Pavlik's main weapon is his jab, he dazes you with the jab and then he puts you to sleep with the right. Pavlik's right is on the same level with Miranda's right and Miranda's right couldn't do nothing. Pavlik's jab won't work for him. Pavlik might have great success with the uppercut but the more he uses it the more he'll be prone to get countered.

Check out the ********* Video Interview with Arthur Abraham from Sat. Nite

Arthur clearly states that his promoter Saurland offered 1.5 million Euros for Felix Sturm to fight him in Germany and Sturm declined.

                      Thats out of the question...
