Dude let's be honest, cut the crap OK, please? I've never been a Williams fan, prior or after he fought Margarito, I've always thought he didn't belong in this division. I don't need to explain myself to you but since you want to keep pushing the **** I gotta remind you that Williams fairly won that fight and I've said it many times before, he outboxed and outpunched Tony that night, I had the fight even at the 11th round and Williams went ahead and won the 12th. It was Tony's fault he lost, no if's or but's.

Kelly Pavlik would win but is Bob Arum saying that this fight doesn't make sense but Pavlik-Rubio does? So far he's turned down Winky Wright and Paul Williams because we'd rather watch Gary Lockett and Marco Rubio.

A good post. Arum is a phony. He used to be a guy who wanted his fighters to fight the best. Since the 1990's we have seen good fights, and we have seen many fights with his fighters not being made also, for his own personal reasons.

This is why I'm a fan of the guy. He's a throwback guy he has skill and wants to show it against the best. I doubt he could beat Pavlik though. But he ain't scared.

I am very surprised to see many worrying about williams. lol He is 6' 3 and is not the first WW to challenge the MW champ. Williams thinks he matches up very well. Who would not want to see this fight? Why wouldn't a fan want to see this fight. People talk about this cutting weight crap. In boxing, there is no such thing. It always catches up to you. There is no cheating in cutting weight. You would be surprised what boxers think about cuttung weight. That is harmful. Williams makes weight comfortably. He can't fight according to what division a fan thinks he should fiht because of his height. Guys like williams, Caballero, and even Pav are tall for their fivision. If they can make weight so be it. I can't even complain about cotto weighing 140 for many of thoes fights he overpowered those guys. He felt like he could no longer do that and moved to 147 and has felt great. How he fought for a vacant title is beyond me but...lol Anyway, judos to williams. I see this fight if it happened as a good fight for both guys. Who cares what people say about well, if quintana did this, kelly will do this...no, that is a theory.

this is a smart move for paul williams, he has to much business and fights at WW to move up that far in weight, it would also be suicide u dont just jump up 2 divsions to fight a guy who can punch like that and who could be fighting easly at 168
