      Like I said, devils advocate.

So basically I can't comment on a fighter or give my .2 cents about a real bull**** strategy being played by his promoter in order to hype up his fighter and make the real MW champion look like a ducker? **** I must be in the wrong forum then...this is a boxing forum after all is it?

It doesn't change the fact that Williams beat Margarito, and yes I had the fight even before the 12th. Margarito turned on the jets after the 5th round and punished Williams badly.
Dude then dog on his promoter. That's a promoters job to stir up some bull****. Williams isn't talking ****. Kelly isn't afraid of Paul nor is Paul afraid of him.

ridiculous to say PAVLIK "ducked" any1, just as much as i'd find it hard to believe PW "ducked" any1. bottom line is, once money becomes a major issue in a fight, anything can happen.

we have yet to hear from either fighter, an no predictions on who would win, but its the promoter's job to make their guy look good. like i've already said, dlh will get the cotto-margo winner (fair or not) so that leaves PW w/o a dancing partner for the forseeable future.

personally, i would've liked to see dlh-pw, margo-cotto, then the 2 winners fight. and i dont wanna hear pw is not a big enough name for dlh, b/c who is steve forbes???

Tall Welterweights aren't a terribly rare thing. It just so happens Williams is a bit taller than the rest. Cintron and Margarito are also approaching 6'0.

Actually, tall Welterweights were the norm for a good amount of time. Anyone remember the McCrory/Breland/Curry/Davis/Trice era. I'm talking late 80's, early 90's. All of those mother****ers were around 6'0 or more.

Williams has got to be about 6'3 though. The only reason I could see him getting **** is because he's tall AND he's draining down to fight as a Welterweight. He started as a Middleweight, the guys I previously mentioned started as Welterweights. Hearns as well.

Yea, we will see huh? I bet Jones counters Calzaghe's slaps off the ropes and drops him. I wont say it will be a KO, but I think Jones is a serious threat if B-hop can knock down Joe @ 43 years old. Jones is way better than B-hop, even now. Speed, power, agility, and the list goes on and on. B-hop can definitely out foul Jones however. You will see the re-emergence of the BEST LHW-EVER in November. Then shortly after that, I hope David Haye gets his wish and fights Wlad K. We will get to see another heavyweight murder, like when Calvin Brock ran his mouth.
