Sky Could be the Limit for Heavyweight Tye Fields

Well if he was paying, it couldn't have been much, because Tye Fields was practically moribund in that fight. I think that Manny gave him up as a bad job after a short while.Comment

I think the central theme behind a piece on a heavyweight like Tye Fields is that his possible success- in the weakness of the division- is no longer even correlated with his actual skill. I mean to say that you can definitely see a KO artist with suspect skills having decent success in the division. I mean, there is such a lack of depth that reeling off enough devastating knock outs on PPV under cards for the next year or so could possibly swing enough interest Tye's way that he wiggles into the heavyweight rankings for some strap or another...Comment

"Lethal Combination" is actaully the name of the card because of Tye Fields left and right fist.Comment

what joke? everything that involves tye fields is a serious matterI wish someone "would let me in" on the Tye Fields joke. Even though the article writer describes his "enormity" when he means "enormousness", this still isn't telling me anything. The real enormity would be if anyone seriously thought he'd become world champion.
As for the facts, TK describes his style accurately, and this was the way I'd always seen him....until Manny Steward got to him. Then in his first fight under Steward, with Tank Williams, he was as slow, awkward and cumbersome as one could see in any e;lephant with corns and gout at the same time.
personally, although i think he has no real skills, I like his personality and hope he succeeds.Comment
