      Umm...no.
Kelly's demanding less of the share. The money generated would probably be comprable, and Kelly would wind up taking half of what Jones would demand... Kelly really wants the fight... Joe really doesn't.

THat having been said... I can't understand why Joe doesn't want to fight Pavlik... I personally think he would be a heavy favorite.

Joe is not having money issues with Roy - this false rumor has spread on these boards but no ones ever said that - possibly Frank Warren but where's he now?

Calzaghe will be hardpressed to continue fighting if he earns 15-20 mil fighting Jones. And that's probably what he gets. Let's see.

The Company agrees with your statement. I think whatever the company says is what I agree with.

I doubt it. RJJ is known throughout the world, Pavlik is just now making his name. The casual boxing fan will be more likely to buy a PPV with RJJ's name on it than Pavlik's, plus, if they fight in Wales, Calzaghe/Jones will be guaranteed to fill the entire arena. I don't see any reason both fighters can't pocket well over 10 million, and with Calzaghe being a free agent, every penny will be his. Pavlik can't begin to draw like Jones, not yet. If he took a fight with Kessler, that would change immediately after. Calzaghe is so, so wrong for Pavlik. He'd lose on the cards while looking like an amature and his stock would remain pretty much steady.

Pavlik demanding less of the share tells you all you need to know. He's simply not that big of a draw. And the money generated wouldn't be comparable,t hat is categorically false. Jones drew 500k PPV sales against Tito; Pavlik drew 300k fighting Jermain Taylor. He's not that well known yet. Calzaghe isn't either; you think Hopkins-Jones would be on regular HBO?

No he hasn't ***. He left becuase Warren still hasn't paid him all the money from the Hopkins fight and was using that to get Calzaghe to sign a contract with a lower precentage of promotion money.
Calzaghe only cares about money in his last fight. Pavlik and his entourage need to offer more money than the jones fight, not 4 million less.
Good news about this is the english twats in the UK won't be able to see his next fight on Setanta.

Ok... But, I doubt Jones will go to Wales. Remember, the decision in the 88 Olympics... he's not going to put himself in that position again. Second, Jones/Trinidad didn't do all that well on PPV and did downright awful at MSG, and that fight featured the most popular fighter in Puerto Rico's history. I agree Jones will outdraw Pavlik, but at this point maybe not by as much as you think.

What are you talking about? The Garden was packed and Jones-Tito did 500k PPV sales and counting.

                      Wow...get a clue.
