WBC.. it just seems to have the most prestige..

    Also it looks the best.

A replica one would be sweet ****, but i bet they aint cheap or easy to come buy.

I can't take the looks of the WBC belt seriously after I looked at Queen_Leia's avatar of a naked Robin Reid posing with it. My eyes have forever been ruined.

the ring belt is the one i give the most credit too.
Even though it is now owned by Oscar Dela Hoya and is being used to promote his vested interests? It was the real deal, but now it is a joke as I explained before.

                come on , rafael.

                you're too cynical.

i admit there's a conflict of interest but do you really think oscar would jeopardize the ring's prestige? those editors and writers would screm bloody murder if oscar tried to interfere.

you know how these sportswriters think they are so high and mighty. they sometimes think them covering the sport is as important as the sport itself!

Even then he took serious licks in both fights and IMO lost the last one.

**** Floyd and his 'official WBC' bollocks. the linear champ is the only champ. Undisputed means what it says on the tin. All the rest are disputed!
Calslappy was awarded the ring belt according to their long standing championship policy after he fought Lacy who was ranked 3rd because it looked like a fight with Kessler was never going to transpire. The Ring championship was never about unifying the alphabets.

Of the "big four" they all suck but the WBO seems to be the least corrupt (dead guy ranking aside).

WBA is a joke because of that super champion, mega champion and topper champion ****. WBC is a joke because of the "You can retire and then wait for the new champ to be weak then get an automatic title shot if you don't fancy fighting Hasim Rahman Emeritus" champion, the IBF has no consistent policy on mandatory defenses allowing some fighters to keep their belts after losing a title fight for which they didn't pay the sanctioning fees but stripping other fighters for not defending against some scrub within three weeks of winning the damn thing in the first place. Yeah, WBO is probably the most legit at this time.

i don't know about how legit and least corrupted the wbo is , squeal.

they were heavily influenced by european promoters. their answer to the american promoters influence on the major belts.

i think the wbo just got lucky because of all the great fighters that came out of europe recently.

naseem , joe , klitschkos and all the other great euro fighters recently put the wbo on the map. those guys being good ended up legitimizing the wbo but hardly make them any less corrupt. probably less corruptible by say king or arum or another american promoter but i'm sure they get their "input" from euro promoters before. don't know about now though.
