    Andre Berto vs Paul williams???

Since Berto just won a part of the Welterweight championship saturday night .. what are the chances that he faces Paul williams to unify and then face cotto or margarito for unidisputed..

Berto is humble I liked how he didnt start talking smack about the other champions.. you think the unification process should start now or he is not ready?? I think he has great skills, speed, movement, defense, the kid is sharp .. Makes the weleterweight didviosn mor einteresting

He isn't ready. He should spend the next year fighting his mando and some pretty good comp and then step it up to those super elite in 2010.

If Berto was your cashcow would you chase a Paul williams fight for him or make him fight 4 or 5 fights in the next two years to keep hold of his belt why he gains more experience?

Berto and Williams are both managed by Al Haymon, so unless it became a big money fight (not likely), it will never happen.

Floyd Mayweather used to be humble too.
Berto will realize soon enough that nice guys finish last.

Dude he has PLENTY of time to face the elite, why not get more fights in WHILE you are champ to not only gain some noteriety but gain some experience.

Reminds me of a james toney-michael nunn type situation lol. Berto would need to land a sunday punch possibly to win. Of course he could break down the body if he commits do doing that, but williams punches will be in his face all night. Williams late rounds ko right now is my pick.

Because you are the champ. When you are the champ, you are an elite. So you fight the elite. He has had enough ****in bums. When is enough, ENOUGH? Damn, he got 23 bums, dropped by the only guy he ever fought with decent pop, got handed a belt. What the **** else does he want? Now he wants more time? Sorry homie, you shouldnt have got the belt in such a bad ass division if you still want "Time". DAMN!!!

Paul Williams would knock him out, Berto is overrated and as soon as he steps up he will get exposed
                    in my opinion
