imo Cotto is looking to muscular and he should be working on his endurance and boxing.If he is planning to come in with the mind set of being stronger than Tony and going toe to toe he's screwed because he has the strength and punching power to do it but not the endurance.If he goes to war hes going to gas out in the middle rounds and get stopped.

Sorry but you Cotto guys are way off base. I understand being proud of your heritage and fighters but AS MUCH AS I HATE MAYWEATHER, he's the best pound4pound fighter in the game today.

Cotto would have no answer for Mayweather, the only fighter that had a chance at beating him was DLH because he too is a great boxer with speed and length but he was too old.

Cotto is much improved and I respect the guy for his work ethic and humility (something his fellow ricans need to learn BADLY) but he can't handle the speed of Mayweather.

I mean never say never but it's just not a good match up for Cotto.

it's going to be the combination of timing, real EFFECTIVE aggression and not doing the same thing over and over (switching up) like mayweather's past foes that have cotto fans licking their chops to see this fight come off. not to mention his undeniable mental fortitude.

yeah, mayweather is a awesome fighter, but really nothing the world hasn't seen before and hes ripe for the taking in a fight with a cotto caliber opponent. cotto is duranesque, yeap, he is.
