thread starter is making a bad joke out of a bad situation. miranda was homeless damn near his entire youth, so cats and dog were served in Colombia, i'm sure. beggars can't be choosers.

actually, back when I was at school Jamaicans used to say Haitians ate cats. there was even a cat eating 'holiday', apparently. it kind of surprised me.

but now that I think about it, that might have been a racist remark.

this was kind of a tasteless joke, but I still laughed at it. I feel terrible about how bad life is in Columbia. I have a friend from there, and he didnt used to talk about starvation or anything, but more about how there were people running around with assualt rifles everywhere.
I have to say that I feel blessed to be in America.

I love cats, but there are plenty of stray cats in poor countries that are nobody's pets. Also homeless people don't have the luxury of planting a vegetable garden, and they probably don't give out food stamps in Colombia.

I guess its all in how you grew up. Poor americans wouldnt eat there pet though cause you can always get welfare or Do ****o thats what most desperate people do.
