Abraham stood in front of him and Miranda couldn't land anything meaningful.
Miranda can only land if he times his opponent, he's just not consistently accurate, Pavlik on the other hand is the complete opposite, he can throw a lot of punches and still have a high connectivity percentage.
It's hard to land anything on Abraham meaningful, his guard is so high.
What Abraham did with Miranda was, he covered up in his shell, let Miranda waste away bombs, and then duck, and while coming up throw a strong counter of his own. IDK if that would work against Pavlik, for one, Pavlik doesn't just throw jabs and hooks like Miranda, Miranda rarely threw uppercuts, and when he did, he threw them at the wrong time. I think because of Pavlik's wide range of attacks at someone who just covers up like Abraham, I don't think Abraham would have a lot of success using that kidn of tactic, he would need to switch up his gamestyle constantly and be unpredictable.
Kelly doesn't throw wide looping punches like Miranda and has a much better jab. Miranda IMO fought like hatton did against mayweather and Lazcano leaving himself very vulnerable to counterpunches especially check hooks.
Both men are capable of hurting the other with any one punch, but moreso Abraham.
Pavlik is very heavy handed, but that's all it is, he needs to land a few good shots before he can hurt you.
With a defense like Abraham's, he is going to struggle to land his flurries, and his punches will look a lot less effective.
Abraham has all but proved he has a better chin and more heart than Pavlik, and he also throws with more one punch concussive power.
Unless Kelly can land hard counters early to gain his respect and discourage him from throwing, he is in for a very hard night, that will more than likely end with his first KO loss.
I always thought Abraham would be able to beat Pavlik, but before the Miranda fight, the **** I would have gotten was not worth putting the idea out there. Now you guys have finally seen for yourself, a lot of people actually think Abraham could stop Pavlik.

one thing Kelly can do is punch thru the guard , he is a strong man, now we do know Taylor was able to put kelly down, I am sure that will give Abruham a very good chance

I also noticed that Abraham would throw leaping punches. He would jump in with his left hook. HE might have gotten away with it against MIranda but hes got to be more careful if hes gonna fight Pavlik like that. His legs were always shuffled and were in odd positions when he threw with power
