Raheem can still ake it
I'm glad that Raheem is still on the active list. He should have been a World Champion long ago. His clever, elusive style is not given the full appreciation it deserves.
Although he has 2 losses, as far as I am concerned, he's still unbeaten. In his fight against Rocky Juarez, he made a fool of Juarez, and had a far tougher time against the ref, who was damned useless and very partisan. The split against Freitas should have been unanimous for Raheem, close but definite. -
Raheem's problem has been that, though he has been one of the best lightweights for several years, his style isn't television-friendly and the networks don't want to pay site fees for potential stinkers.
As the poster before me said, Raheem's style is often unappreciated by judges and fans alike. Thats why he's going to have to really step it up against ts Ali Funeka character in his hometown.Comment
