Hozumi Hasegawa, anyone else a fan of this kid

I just got done wathcing him vs Veeraphool Saphrom 2 and wow what a performance.

He kinda reminds me of a mini Bhop except he's not a dirty fighter at all. He has somewhat of the stance, has that pawing jab, and deadly straight punch. His left hand straight, right hook, and uppercuts are pretty sick even if he has **** power.

Guy slips punches pretty well, but Veeraphol hit with the straight right from time to time. Still Hasegawa throws combonations incredibly well because he sets everything up. Guy has ok footspeed, but has a really nice dash and circle which is faster.

Who's he fighting next? Alejandro Valerz is the #3 WBC ranked Bantam weight. That'd be a good fight. Aselno, the WBA champ, could be great for unifying. Hasegawa has 6 title defenses (the most ever by a japanese fighter at Bantam I think) and seems pretty damn good.

You should check out some old fights of Yuri Abrahiv whatever the spelling is. He was a champion for a long time. I've seen a few of his fights and the guy really can fight and had a very educated boxing style. He usally keep in asia his whole career thats why he's probably not much known here in the states.
